OHIO-My name is Malorie, I am 23 years old and married. We have a house and many bills. My husband is a Union Pipefitter in our local hall. He has been part of the hall for 4 years and was laid off over 70 days ago. I had 1000 dollars in saving so i was able to make another house payment. I had bought roofing materials and had them in my garage until the weather promited to redue the roof. I recently returned those items to pay another mortage payment. And now my heater went out. I gathered up the grocery money and water bill money to pay for that to be fixed. Our house was 40 degrees the 2 days it was out and a pipe burst (-18 outside). Thankfully my husband knows how to fix that due to his trade. I have put in several applications for work in my area but with the economy suffering like it is there isnt much work. It is looking good that i will get a paper route within the next month or so. Right now my husband gets 236.00 a week from unemployment. That is almost a joke that wont even pay our house payment if we save all 4 weeks of it. I guess what i am asking is if anyone knows a way to get help. Or if anyone can help me. Anything is helpful. All i need is this one time help. We should be back on our feet in a few months. I am not asking for my house payment or things that exspensive i know money is hard to come by for everyone recently. Just help for food or water bill/heat bill would be wonderful. I have 3 more meals to make and we are out of food. All my bills just piled up again and im starting to really freak out. We check with the Union Hall everyday to see when my husband will get back to work. He is number 8 to go out. He was number 10 when he got laid off 70 days ago so as you can see its slow going. We dont qualify for government assistance because when he is working we make enough. So this is my last hope. If there is anyone out there that can help i would appriciate it greatly. My email is mal626@hotmail.com i will read and reply to all emails...even suggestions are welcome.
Thank you so much for hearing me out
